Leadership Spotlight: Mandy Hall

Meet Mandy Hall, Campaign Director, changemaker and a formidable force for food sustainability.

As Campaign Director for End Food Waste Australia, Mandy Hall is on a mission: to tackle household food waste head-on and inspire a national shift in how we value food. She leads the charge on our evidence-backed behaviour change campaign, ‘The Great Unwaste.’

A MasterChef alumna, fermentation guru, writer, presenter and all-round powerhouse (yes, the list really does go on), Mandy brings a unique blend of creativity, credibility and charisma to the table. There really is no one better to lead this movement.

Backed by research, sharp strategy and a very passionate team, Mandy has helped drive incredible results. In the 6 months since launch, more than a quarter of the nation can recall seeing or hearing about The Great Unwaste campaign, and two-thirds (64%) of respondents agreed that the campaign gave them useful tips or ideas to reduce their household food waste.

Mandy was recently named ‘Hospitality Hero’ in The Advertiser SA’s Women of the Year Awards, a well-deserved honour that she humbly shares with the whole team at End Food Waste Australia, as well as the foodie community behind her.
