what we’ve achieved – Impact Report 2024

We’ve gathered 3 years of data from Australian Food Pact Signatories, and the results speak for themselves. Businesses that commit to the Pact are making a real difference—tracking their waste, taking action, and reaping the rewards.

  • Since 2022, we’ve helped our Signatories achieve a 13% decrease in food waste—that’s 16,000 tonnes – compared with 2022
  • We’ve repurposed 982,000 tonnes of ‘food not sold’, reusing it in meaningful ways, such as redistribution through food rescue charities to feed those in need, and upcycling into innovative products
  • We’ve helped business’s bottom line, saving Signatories $57 Million by reducing food waste by 16,000 tonnes, and $2 million in landfill levies

Our 2024 Australian Food Pact Impact Report, showcases the incredible progress made by our Signatories. By accessing the support and expertise of End Food Waste Australia, they’re transforming the way food is handled across the supply chain.
